This course is recommended for healthcare professionals who direct or participate in the management of patients who suffer from cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.

Course Options

  • This course is recommended for healthcare professionals who desire to obtain initial and renewal ACLS certification.

    • Course Content:

      • CPR/ BLS & AED

      • Airway management

      • Rhythm recognition and EKG interpretation

      • IV/ IO access

      • Pharmacology for cardiovascular emergencies

      • Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) recognition and initial management

      • Stroke management

      • Defibrillation & Cardioversion

      • Transcutaneous pacing

      • Post-cardiac arrest management

      • Effective team dynamics

    • Study Materials

      • ACLS Provider Manual or eBook (required)

      • ACLS study guide

      • AHA ACLS Algorithms

      • Complete ACLS pre-course assessment (required)

      • Complete Heartcode ACLS (HeartCode® ACLS | AHA)

    • Please note:

      • Initial ACLS certification requires a current unexpired BLS card. Please email a copy of your current unexpired BLS card to contact@essential-cardiac-care.com

      • Renewal ACLS certification requires a current unexpired BLS & ACLS card. Please email a copy of your current unexpired BLS and ACLS cards to contact@essential-cardiac-care.com

    • Participants must complete all of the following components to receive initial ACLS certification:

    1. Email current unexpired copy of your AHA BLS card to contact@essential-cardiac-care.com

      *This item must be provided before class or there will be no class participation and fees paid will be forfeited

    2. Complete ACLS pre-course assessment and pre-course work ( Course Details). Passing score is at least 70%. Please email successful completion certificates to contact@essential-cardiac-care.com.

    3. Please bring the AHA ACLS provider manual or eBook to class

    • Class duration:

      • The timing for completing the online portion of Heartcode ACLS can vary depending on the student’s level of experience

      • The in-person hands on session will take approximately 5-6 hours.
