Essential Cardiac Care Policies

We appreciate your understanding as these policies allow Essential Cardiac Care to maintain class availability and fairness for all participants.

• Non-Refundable Policy: Failure to attend or notify Essential Cardiac Care (contact@essential-cardiac-care.com ) about a class absence without prior notice will result in forfeiture of your registration fee and no refund. No refunds will be permitted for cancellations made on or after the original course date. A course credit will be kept on file for 12 months.

• Refund Policy:

  • Refunds will be permitted if the course is cancelled 4 days (96 hours) prior to original course start time.

• Rescheduling Guidelines (Advance Notice Required):

  • Individual Training: Please contact Essential Cardiac Care 48 hours in advance to reschedule without a fee.

    • If Essential Cardiac Care is contacted to reschedule within 48 hours of your class, then individuals taking CPR/ AED/ First Aid courses or BLS courses will be charged $15.00.

    • If Essential Cardiac Care is contacted to reschedule within 48 hours of your class, then individuals taking ACLS courses will be charged $30.00.

  • Group Training: Please contact Essential Cardiac Care 72 hours in advance to reschedule without a fee.

    • If Essential Cardiac Care is contacted to reschedule within 72 hours of any class, then the group will be charged $30.

• Late Policy: Participants who are greater than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule.

• Emergency Situations: Essential Cardiac Care understands that emergencies occur. If so, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to accommodate.

• Class Participants: Registered class participants will be permitted in the class. Children, and other individuals that are not registered for the class, are not permitted in the classroom setting as this can cause potential distractions.

• Fees and Educational Material: The American Heart Association (AHA) promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses. AHA has developed educational instructional materials for this purpose. Use of materials in a course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for courses, except for fees associated with components of AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
