Who should take these courses?

These courses are recommended for non-healthcare individuals (teachers, fitness or personal trainers, camp staff, parents, babysitters, faith-based organization staff or members, coaches, security guards, etc.) who desire to receive CPR, AED, and/or First Aid Training.

Course Options

  • This course is recommended for non-healthcare individuals who desire First Aid training and certification.

    • Course Content:

      • Basics of first aid

      • Medical, injury, and environmental emergencies

      • Illness and injury prevention

    • Participants must complete all of the following components to receive certification:

    1. In-person classroom-based education

    2. In-person skills practice

    3. In-person skills test

    • Class duration: 2 - 2.5 hours

      • Chain of Survival: Understanding the critical steps in improving survival from cardiac arrest.

      • Adult CPR and AED Use: Recognizing cardiac arrest performing high-quality chest compressions, administering rescue breaths, and safe AED use.

      • Child CPR and AED Use: Age-appropriate techniques for CPR and AED use in children.

      • Infant CPR: Techniques tailored for infants, including compressions and rescue breathing

      • Choking Relief: How to assist a choking adult, child, or infant in responsive and unresponsive victims.

    • Participants must complete all of the following components to receive certification:

    1. In-person classroom-based education
