Course Content:
Chain of Survival: Understanding the critical steps in improving survival from cardiac arrest.
Adult CPR and AED Use: Recognizing cardiac arrest performing high-quality chest compressions, administering rescue breaths, and safe AED use.
Child CPR and AED Use: Age-appropriate techniques for CPR and AED use in children.
Infant CPR: Techniques tailored for infants, including compressions and rescue breathing
Choking Relief: How to assist a choking adult, child, or infant in responsive and unresponsive victims.
Participants must complete all of the following components to receive certification:
Online course linked below (completed at home prior to in-person skills practice & test)
In-person skills practice
In-person skills test
Class duration: Online component is approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. In-person skills session is 1 - 1.5 hours.
